Processing

There was little doubt that Rebecca and I would totally hit it off and that Ruth and I would bond on my trip and I knew God wanted me to be a part of this ministry in some fashion so I've been processing how that it going to look with me in the states for at least 50 weeks out of the year (the other two in Africa?!?!?) This trip was definitely a "vision trip" for me and I am certain that I will be back in Uganda next year (I wish sooner)!

Rebecca will be in the states in a few days for about 2 weeks. She is mainly coming to sign 501c3 documents but she is scheduling some meetings, too. I'm planning on meeting up with her in Jackson, TN with some ladies to discuss her sponsorship program and other miscellaneous things. She'll be back in the fall to raise support. 

I've been working on a list of questions and ideas to talk about while I'm with her. After I left things kept coming to mind that I forgot to ask or ideas for fundraising so I'm really looking forward to this opportunity to spend more time with her to discuss. Things can get lost in translation when you try to communicate via email and Facebook overseas so I really want to make the most of this time. So far the things that I'm thinking about are her web site, sponsorship program and tee shirt ideas. 

I'm also trying to put together some things for her to take back to the kids, too. I didn't realize there were any boys in the house so I didn't have anything for them when I was there. I gave the girls pajamas and a dress shirt but nothing for the boys so I'm working on getting them a little something....I'm thinking Gator shirts! Also, most of the kids at My Father's House wrote sweet sweet letters to me the day I left and I want to write letters back to them to send back with her.
